American Philatelic Research Library (APRL) The APRL has one of the world’s largest and most accessible collections of philatelic literature. Its nearly four miles of shelving containing more than 23,000 book titles and 5,700 journal titles as well as catalogs (general and specialized), government documents, auction catalogs & price lists, stamp show programs & palmares, exhibits (copies of philatelic exhibits), CD- and DVD-ROMs, and research and archival collections.

American Topical Association The American Topical Association (ATA) was founded in 1949 to bring together people who enjoy collecting postage stamps by topics. American Air Mail Society As aerophilatelists we collect many kinds of airmail. Here you can find 47 different categories that have appeared as Sections in the American Air Mail Catalogue from the 1st Edition in 1935 through the 7th Edition with the latest volume published in 2017. Some are exceedingly narrow like Air Labels which are unlikely to be published in the future. Others, like Contract Air Mail, are expansive and will no doubt be updated with the next edition of that catalog is prepared.

American First Day Cover Society The American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS) is a volunteer non-profit and non-commerical organization serving the needs of First Day Cover collectors, cachetmakers, and dealers. Founded in 1955, the society has a membership of over 1,100 active first day cover collectors, including many who design and manufacture their own cacheted FDCs.
