The San Diego County Philatelic Library is one of only 8 institutions in the United States dedicated to philately. The library has over 15,000 items including books, monographs, catalogs, collections and periodicals for researchers to browse. In addition to serving as a library it provides a venue for philatelists to discuss the hobby, hold stamp club meets and participate in opportunity sales.
